Cobalt is looking for a hard working, ambitions and experienced block property manager to fill an exciting and challenging position with one of our most prestigious clients.
Our client is an asset management company, with over £5 billion currently under management. They pride themselves on leading the market in customer service, offering a tailored approach to their clients.
Based in their Central or East London Office, you will be brought on board to grow your own team and manage a portfolio of leasehold properties.

If you are interested in this position, you must have previous experience in leasehold block management along with the following attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of service charge budget formulation
- Knowledge of section 20 notice processes and major works
- Experience attending AGMs (attending, chairing or taking minutes)
- An ability to deal with difficult people and resolve conflict effectively
The role also involves some elements of residential management and as such understanding of the following will be helpful:
- Liaising with Landlords; including the sending of Monthly Landlord Statements and Invoices, and Payment Processing.
- Consulting with local agents
- Issuing of Section 21 notices.
- Tenant contract renewals and adjustments; new lease creation and amendments. .
- Organising and negotiating with contractors for building works.
