An opportunity has arisen within an independent national planning consultancy due to a substantial increase in workload. This particular client provides planning services to clients across all sectors to assist with the development of land and buildings. This particular role will give the appointed Planner strong exposure to a varied client base with an emphasis on adding value, innovation, and solutions to achieve the most successful outcome.
Main Responsibilities will include:
-Negotiations on the client's behalf
-Prepare evidence and co-ordinate the submission of planning applications
-Develop and maintain important client relationships
-Promote strategic land interests in development plans
-Liaising internally with neighbouring offices.
The appointed Planner will ideally be working towards their APC having gained their experience in either the public or private sector. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to organise your own workload. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of Development Control procedures and be able to review Development Plans & Proposals.
