Assistant Block Manager & Block Manager

I am currently resourcing for both an Assistant Block Manager and Block Manager to join a prestigious and well known independent company in the Central London area. These positions have become available due to growth in the Block Management department.

As an Assistant you will be helping the Block Management department with the administrative duties on their portfolio and as a Block Manager you will be responsible for managing a new portfolio which is currently being taken on, circa 300 units.

This company will fund your IRPM qualifications, provide excellent benefits and incentives as well as offer a very competitive salary for the right person.

Unfortunately those without experience in the Block Management industry will not be considered for this role as you will be expected to come in and have knowledge of the industry whilst assisting and managing a portfolio.

The ideal candidate will,

  • Have clear and concise communication skills to all involved.
  • Be very smart and presentable to appropriately represent the company.
  • Be completely organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Have a positive can do attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to achieve the best results possible.

Responsibilities of the roles include,

  • Responding to correspondence by email/phone calls from directors, Leaseholders and tenants.
  • Ensure that the Service Charges are being spent in line with the Service Charge budget for that financial year, except when any unforeseen expenditures are necessary after prior approval has been granted.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to the Directors and Leaseholders.
  • Managing the portfolio compliantly and operating in line with the current property laws and legislation in place, as well as adhering to the lease.
