(Senior-) Consultant / Manager (m/f) Investor Reporting & Finance

Our client is a leading owner and manager of high quality real assets across Europe. The private equity firm provides a platform for investor and looks to build sustainable value in high barrier to entry sectors. Our client has successfully invested more than $5bn of capital in European real estate assets since inception and has a proven track record of successfully identifying and acquiring high quality real estate through out Europe. Due to a continued healthy expansion phase and the positive business in Germany, Cobalt Deutschland GmbH, on behalf of our client, is looking for a Senior Consultant/Manager (m/f) with a first track record working within financial analysis (m/w). The purpose of this role is to support Senior Management with the preparation of quarterly investor reportings in coordination with local teams as well as support the real estate Investment & Asset Management Teams in Germany.

Area of Responsibility

• Contribute to the local business strategy, in particular the financial  proposition of the new strategy in Germany
  • Review, controlling and coordination of external property managers
  • Support of Acquisition team on other transactional elements
  • Preparation of quarterly Investor Reportings in coordination with local teams
    • Report in a timely manner to obtain different necessary approval to implement the strategy
    • Define budget vs. actuals on property level and corporate levels
    • Maintain business plan and perform hold/sell analysis on a quarterly basis
    • Support relationship with the banks who have financed the asset over the life of the project
    • Provide market research and market outlook summaries
      • Create in house view regarding investment structure, market rent and investment yield

The required Profile

• Above average successfully completed university degree ideally with a further finance specific degree (i.e. Master in Finance, MBA etc.)
• Minimum of two to seven years of relevant professional experience within (real estate) financial services sector
• Relevant work experience with budgetary and group reporting projects for a bank, a private equity company, fund or real estate company (investor or developer in the departments of Finance or Treasury in Germany)
• Excellent knowledge in the areas of real estate finance, accounting and the common transaction structures (portfolio and individual property level, asset and share deals, fund structures, etc.) and current real estate capital market skills are required
• Energetic, resourceful with the ability to take the initiative and make informed decisions in conjunction with the senior management in Germany and UK
• Ability to present financial information and company performance to the board, investors and other stakeholders in a professional manner
• International team player with demonstrable ability to work in a team
• Fluent English language skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively
