Indonesian Investment Associate

A Singapore headquartered multibillion dollar private equity firm is looking to bring on board an Associate to execute buyout and growth equity investments in SEA.

Having established a very strong and market leading team of investment professionals, they are continuing to grow and require an Associate to join the team in Indonesia and play a key role in the execution of buyout and growth equity investments across SEA. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior investment professional with strong Indonesian transaction experience to join a highly funded group where you will have the opportunity to build a strong deal sheet.

Key responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the execution of investments and divestments in SEA.
• Evaluate potential investments via the building and analysis of financial models.
• Conduct deal structuring, due diligence and presentation of investment opportunities to the Investment Committee.
• Be involved in developing and implementing strategies for the team and portfolio as well as conducting portfolio analysis and providing recommendations to senior management on the performance of the assets.

Interested candidates must:

• Be currently sitting in an Associate position (or equivalent) in an international investment bank or a leading consultancy group.
• Have a strong track record in executing M&A deals in Indonesia.
• Possess an exceptionally strong quantitative and financial skill set with ability to build financial models.
• Have strong interpersonal and communications skills with ability to interact with all levels of management and must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia due to the role being based in Indonesia.
