A new opportunity has become available for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join an established and leading Housing Association. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected organisation who have developed a leading reputation in the industry through their forward thinking.


£23,000 to £27,000 per annum

Depending on Experience

Job Role

  • Carry out stock condition surveys on dwellings & non-dwelling building assets.
  • Responsible for managing own diary and take full ownership from appointment through to validation and completion of survey.
  • Identify building defects and latent defects along with the specification of make safe and/or remedial works.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a strong customer service.
  • Update and maintain systems and records of all information surrounding property condition and investment strategy. Consistently auditing this data for quality assurance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum HNC in surveying related field or equivalent experience of carrying out stock condition surveys to residential properties.
  • Knowledge of asset management databases.
  • Excellent level of knowledge of building construction, standards, and legislation, and an ability to diagnose and specify remedies to building defects.
  • Excellent knowledge of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
  • Driving license and vehicle required.
