Location: London
Salary and benefits: 60,000 - 75,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including pension (DC), private medical cover, life assurance, strong holiday entitlement etc

A long established, highly regarded and Independent Construction Consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager.

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading a significant programme of Infrastructure public sector procurement. You will be responsible for advising and defining procurement strategy as well as hiring and managing a wider team. This is a highly complex, multidisciplinary £3.5bn programme.

Areas of responsibility include:
-eSourcing and/or eEvaluation systems
-Developing Packaging Strategies
-Developing Contracting Strategies
-Commercial management
-Contract management
-Early market engagement
-Risk and opportunity management

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, it is anticipated that you will:
-Hold demonstrable UK Public sector procurement experience, ideally on Infrastructure space projects such as Rail or Major Civils
-Demonstrable experience of working within the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations and/or Utility Regulations
-Hold a relevant degree within a construction related discipline
-Be chartered with a relevant institution - MRICS, MCIPS or MCIOB
-Previous experience of working in a client focused environment, working closely with clients and other consultants
