A multidisciplinary and highly regarded and principled Consultancy is seeking to attract and appoint a Project Manager to their high performing Programme and Project Management team.

This newly created role will find you playing an instrumental part in the pursuit and delivery of a variety of project and programme management commissions in the Highways sector. As such, we are seeking individual with a passion for the sector and strong knowledge of the strategic objectives and client priorities in this space.

You will take an active part in delivering commissions covering traditional programme management, PMO, change and transformation and asset management. You will operate as Bid Manager and Project Manager.

Day to day you could find yourself:
-Working as a project manager, or as part of a consultancy team on a £10-20m project or supporting the delivery of part of a £50m programme
-Working as part of a team to deliver commissions
-Delivering work to an incredibly high standard of client satisfaction
-Supporting in the prospecting for new work with current/new clients and developing client relationships
-Developing your own skills to ensure on-going flexibility and value to clients
-Supporting the development of new service offerings

To be successful in this position, it is anticipated that you will:
-Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or Project Management
-Be working towards a professional qualification in Project and Programme management qualifications, such as MAPM, or equivalent.
-Be experienced in the delivery of Highways infrastructure projects or programmes
-Have demonstrable project management experience
-Have knowledge of highways sector regulations and developments /drivers
-Have an awareness of bidding / tendering including reviewing and/or submitting bids.
-Be able to identify stakeholders, determine requirements and expectations and manage their influence on the project
-Have good commercial and contractual awareness
