The Company:
Medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with around 200 employees throughout New Zealand. With a strong client base and a national presence, the Building Services team enjoy a variety of interesting and challenging projects throughout the country. They are an employee owned company with more than 50% of the employees having shares in the company.
The Opportunity:
The position on offer is for an experienced Building Services Engineer looking for an opportunity to lead and grow a team with support from the Auckland office. It's an opportunity for someone who is ready for the next step in their career into a leadership position.
Role requirements include:
• Assisting in seeking new client opportunities and expanding the relationships with existing clients.
• Ensuring projects are undertaken in a timely manner and to professional standards.
• Liaising closely with other disciplines on projects and working together to achieve the best solutions.
• Mentoring and assisting with the development of junior staff.
• Actively participating in the company employee annual review process.
About you:
• Professional qualification in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in the Building Services industry.
• Strong understanding of relevant design codes and practices.
• Ability to communicate well with staff, clients, and management, both verbally and in writing.
• Committed to the commercial success of the Building Services team and the company.
