A leading Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy is seeking to make a senior Associate Director level appointment within their niche Project Management team. Reporting into a Director, you will be responsible for managing the development and subsequent delivery of fully outsourced infrastructure and highways projects on behalf of a variety of Public and Private sector clients.

You will manage the whole lifecycle, leading from outline planning, discharging of planning conditions, procurement of design, managing ecology, archaeology, phasing and programming of delivery, appointment of Main Contractors and Contract Administration.

You will act as the senior leader for the area and work closely with the Director in growing the client base across the South East and South Coast. With a large client base and a strong forward order book, this opportunity provides an extremely stable foundation on which to further build upon.

This role would very much suit an individual with intrinsic knowledge of highways and infrastructure works pertaining to major development projects, such as Section 278, 106 and 38.

Key responsibilities:
-Planning, liaison and managing of statutory undertakers and other 3rd parties.
-Lead in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion
-Establish and deliver best practice PM systems and controls
-Leading service delivery with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening the client relationships, using opportunities to cross-sell
-Ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business
-Management, development and leadership of Project Managers

To succeed as a Project Manager, it is anticipated that you will meet the following criteria:
-Demonstrable project management experience gained within the highways and infrastructure environment
-Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and ideally be Chartered with a relevant institution (ICE or similar)
-Strong track record of managing strategic infrastructure related to residential / mixed use developments through detailed planning, procurement and delivery stages.
-Experience and working knowledge of NEC ECC forms of contract
-In depth knowledge of different construction processes
