A top tier real-estate practice is looking to hire a chartered quantity surveyor with experience or an interest in bank / project monitoring to their London office. This is a good opportunity to develop within a niche team of a global business as they expand.

Remuneration:

Associate Development Monitor - £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Development Monitor - £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits + Bonus (no previous monitoring experience necessary)

The company are looking for two individuals, the senior level person must have had experience within bank / fund monitoring whereas the mid level person could be a chartered or couple of years experienced quantity surveyor with an interested in developing their career within this field.

The company holds a high level position with a number of instructional funds, investors and banks across the EMEA region. They provide high level monitoring services on development projects valued between £500,000 and £500+ million. Due to their position in the market they are looking to grow this business unit and therefore would offer good career progression and training for the new project monitor. Good report writing and a proactive attitude to be client facing with the developers / investors teams is essential.

Requirements:

• MRICS or appropriate accreditation preferable but not essential
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or related subject
• Consultancy / investment company background
• Experience in the development / fund monitoring capacity preferable
• Experience overseeing cost for London development projects
• Client facing and proactive attitude to progress career
