The Company are a successful multi-disciplinary property organisation who specialise in the management and development of commercial properties nationwide.
They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an expanding team working alongside the property management division. The role would be diverse and varied and be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue their career within accounts payable.
Key responsibilities;
- Coding invoices and posting to ledger, obtaining correct authorisation for invoices
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Preparing BACS payments
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Investigating wrong way balances Liaising with budget holders in business
- Liaising with suppliers
- Filing purchase invoices
- Coding expense forms and posting to ledger
- Ensuring items claimed have receipts and are being claimed in line with expenses policy
- Set up new expense accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Preparing BACS payments
- Liaising with staff/directors
- Filing expense forms
Personal requirements;
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a team
- Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience is necessary
