Our client, a market-leading investment management house, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their team. Focusing on commercial property investments, the firm currently has over £2.6bn in assets under management. Since its inception, the firm has acquired and developed over £4bn of property assets.
Joining the team in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for all management and financial accounting for the group and will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Group Management accounts
- Review recharge of overheads
- Identifying and obtaining explanation for variances against budgets
- Preparing annual financial statements for group companies
- Reviewing accruals and prepayments
- Liaise with auditors
- Prepare annual budgets and review/report variances
- Liaise with stakeholders to agree and check budgetary assumptions
Requirements:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proficiency with Sage line 50
- Experience of working within the Real Estate sector
