This Site Manager's role is due to them having secured new commercial work. You will likely be capable of managing your own projects between $500k - $5M. This role will provide you with diversity, support and stability by partnering with and working for a financially sound outfit.
This Site Manager's role can extend to an array of project sectors including commercial, education, fit outs and more. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the site including supervising work, managing programme and quality, health and safety and developing meaningful relationships with team on site and key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you would assist with ensuring the successful running of site for projects to achieve client and business objectives, while working with a team who are committed and collaborative. In this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Industry and trade relevant qualified
- Local NZ on site experience in commercial construction
- Able to manage subcontractors and communicate with project teams autonomously
- Construction and fit out delivery experience up to $5M
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and relevant building codes
- Ability to read technical plans and programmes
- Self-starter, motivated and demonstrates initiative
