Senior Structural Engineer

Working across a wide array of projects at varying stages in the project lifecycle will see you gain exposure to a variety of fields not usually afforded in the current engineering market. With a 360 approach to their work, you will have full control of the project including initial site investigations and feasibility studies, preparing design packages from concept stage through to detailed design, report writing and construction monitoring. In addition to these core duties, you will be tasked with leading concurrent projects and mentoring junior and intermediate engineers through complex challenges through the project lifecycle. Due to this, you will be sure to keep up with current technical principles via external training seminars and personal learning.

Ideally you will have:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree (Washington Accord accredited)

• 6+ years post graduate experience

• Solid understanding of seismic principles and standards

• Experience working on domestic projects

• CPEng qualified (or close to)

To succeed in this role, you will bring your extensive networks and technical knowledge to the fore and act in a technical capacity. As part of a collaborative team of civil and structural engineers, you will have brilliant communication skills (written & verbal) and a strong desire to further grow both you and your team's technical skills. Additionally, you will use your communication skills and technical knowledge to further develop opportunities for the business through both your existing network and business development activities.
