Make your mark in a firm that is going from strength to strength in the Waikato region. With a solid infrastructure in place to draw from, the firm is looking for a mid-senior or senior level lawyer that has primary expertise in property work. There is room for growth into a partnership role if that's something of interest, or equally to work in a senior level role that allows you to work with autonomy and assist in mentoring juniors.

This is a chance to work for a firm and in a team that has a reputable brand in the market, promotes diversity and a positive working culture. The work involves residential and commercial property transactions, commercial leasing, subdivisions, unit title matters, rural law and associated business transactions, trusts, wills, property financing and asset planning work. With longstanding relationships through the Waikato region, there is a steady workflow in place to keep you challenged and busy, while also supported in your work.

About you:

  • 5+ years' NZ based private practice experience (some transactional experience is key);
  • Good interpersonal and client relationship management skills;
  • An ability to problem solve and run files from start to finish with a good level of autonomy.

Whether its a move you might be considering for 2021 due to cheaper costs of living / housing, moving back closer to family or back from overseas, get in touch to see if this opportunity is for you.

You must be a NZ qualified lawyer with some private practice experience to apply for this role.
