Senior Civil Engineer

​An innovative multidisciplinary known for their work on high profile projects, at the forefront of the land development industry, this consultancy have developed a great name for themselves in the civil engineering market in New Zealand. A well established consultancy, they now have 5 offices around the country and are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Hamilton office. With projects ranging across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, their project portfolio is as varied as it is vast and there is no shortage of interesting and complex projects to get stuck in on.

The Role:

This role will involve working across medium to large land development projects within the central plateau region of the North Island. Working in close knit team , a routine day would see you carrying out the traditional civil engineer duties such as civil engineering design (12d), producing technical reports, construction/project management and liaising with all key stakeholders on project progress. In addition to this, you will also be accountable for mentoring juniors in the office and helping procuring further opportunities for the business through your extensive network.

You Will Possess:

• A Bachelor of Engineering degree with 8+ years of consultancy experience

• A CPEng qualification (or close to)

• Proficiency in Civil 12d

• In depth understanding of the NZ's land development market

• Brilliant communication skills - both written and verbal

• A leader at heart - able to motivate staff and exemplify our client's company culture
