Property Manager

​Our client, a listed New Zealand business, are a provider of primary health care services to the communities around the country. They are passionately committed to providing support, care and advice to those communities through their pharmacies, medical centres and community health services.

The client now requires a Property Manager to assist the Head of Property with the day to day property management functions across the portfolio, which consists of retail, medical facilities and office.

The key responsibilities of the role may include but not be limited to the following:

• OPEX budgeting, reconciliations and recovery management from sub-tenants;

• Assisting with lease renewals and management of fixed or CPI rental reviews;

• Updating and on going maintenance of Property Management software;

• Assist with facilities management to resolve maintenance issues and ensure landlord obligations are met;

• Assist with sub-leasing and management of sub-tenants and licenses;

• Developing and maintaining excellent business relationships with Landlords, sub-tenants and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for the role would preferably have the following:

• Tertiary qualification Property preferred, but not essential;

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role;

• High level of both technical and practical property management knowledge;

• Good level of legal acumen and ability to interpret lease documentation;

• Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict;

• High attention to detail and strong analytic skill set.

Working closely with the Executive team and the Head of Property will afford the candidate with fantastic learning and development while being given the opportunity to spearhead initiatives and projects within the portfolio.
