Property Lawyer | Intermediate to Senior

About the position

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading property team at one of our clients in Canterbury that works with quality corporate and individual clients across New Zealand. The law firm is well-established in NZ and the property team works in a collaborative way to provide exceptional client service consistently. Our client is looking to hire an intermediate or senior level lawyer to join the team and continue to drive the success of the firm by acting on various property matters.

This is a role where you will work with experienced partners and have the support of junior lawyers in the team while being able to work with a decent level of autonomy. In return, you will gain experience across various aspects of commercial property transactions, development, leasing arrangements, re-financing, residential conveyancing, subdivisions as well as related property matters. It's an all-rounder position where you can be involved in multiple matters at a time.

About you

• 3+ years PQE ín property law gained within a well-regarded property team;
• Strong problem solving and organisational skills;
• Interpersonal skills to work in a close-knit team setting;
• Ability to further develop client relationships;
• Knowledge of relevant legal systems.
