Insurance Litigation lawyer | Senior Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor level lawyer to join our client's insurance law team due to someone heading overseas. You will work in a team-based culture where there isn't a hierarchy but more of a flat structure, so there will be plenty of mentorship from well-regarded partners in the industry. The work will involve contentious insurance matters, primarily representing insurer clients, in matters such as statutory liability, professional indemnity (e.g. D&O), professional negligence, business interruption and regulatory investigations, acting for insurers and large corporates. If you have a background in civil or insurance litigation and are looking to gain more experience in this field, this would be an excellent option to consider.

About you

• 4+ years litigation experience in a well-regarded practice;
• Experience with insurance litigation matters is strongly preferred (although those more experienced with good civil litigation experience may be considered also);
• An analytical mind with good drafting skills and client relationship management capabilities.

Part-time hours for more experienced candidates or some flexi-hours can be provided (e.g. if you wanted to have a day working from home) for candidates that have insurance experience.
