Employment Lawyer | Senior

Join a strong employer brand in the market, working within a full service CBD practice, taking a lead role on the employment law side. You will work with both commercial and litigation partners on both contentious and advisory related employment law matters. The ability to work with HR professionals in corporates is key and some union related experience would be a bonus.

The practice is growing and has a need for a senior employment lawyer where there are good career advancement prospects for the right person. This is a role where you'll get to work with a decent level of autonomy in providing employment advice to clients in a range of industry sectors as well as representing clients (predominantly employer based) in personal grievance claims.

You will be someone with a solid employment law background (6 or 7+ years) and part of your background may involve broader litigation work - there is scope to get involved in some civil litigation work over time if that's of interest. The team is looking for someone who can has strong client relationship management skills. You'll also be able to regularly attend mediations, the ERA and advocate on behalf of your clients in a professional manner.
