Corporate lawyer | Senior Solicitor

As part of a team-based environment at a reputable full-service law firm, you will have the opportunity to join a busy corporate practice in Wellington where there will be diverse work on offer. At this level, you will be involved in working on M&A deals, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on joint ventures, corporate structuring, outsourcing technology contracts and advisory work on projects. You will receive instructions from clients across a wide variety of industries including the energy, oil & gas, technology and transport industries. The firm promotes staff based on merit and pays at the top of the market.

To apply for this role, you will have:

• 4+ years' PQE as a corporate and commercial lawyer;
• Some existing corporate advisory and transactional experience. Your experience may be a mix with property or insolvency too;
• Good grades (B grade average or higher in your law degree);
• Keen interest in developing your skills in a high-performing corporate practice.
