Construction Lawyer | Senior with ref.

Due to growth, our client has a well-established national construction practice that does a mixture of commercial contracting work for projects as well as resolving construction issues. They have room to hire an intermediate to senior level lawyer that has experience with construction contracts, commercial contracts, and working on residential developments, large-scale infrastructure projects, procurement and tender arrangements, joint venture arrangements for projects and a high-level understanding of risk mitigation and disputes management. The team is led by partners that are highly regarded in this field and with a national team, they are involved in top work.

There is genuine scope for partnership progression in this role.

About you:

4/5+ years solid PQE in construction and infrastructure (those that have gained relevant in-house experience);
This role can be based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington.
Commercial awareness and the ability to advise strategically;
Experience gained in a reputable firm and/or organisation; and
NZ qualified lawyer.
