Our client has a well-established construction practice that does a mixture of commercial contracting work for projects as well as resolving construction issues. They are interested in considering a mid or senior level lawyer that has experience with construction contracts and resolving issues relating to contractors / sub-contractors, residential developments, suppliers, professional negligence, project delays and contractual disputes within the field. You'll be able to hone your advocacy skills by negotiating outcomes at mediation, adjudications and arbitrations. The team is a high performing one and you'd have room for your own professional development within the firm.
- 6+ years solid PQE in construction and infrastructure (broader civil disputes experience that has involved some of this work is of interest too);
- An ability to cut through issues and problem solve;
- A good academic record; and
- Experience gained in a reputable firm - whether large or specialist.
Perhaps you're in a firm doing predominantly leaky/defective building work and you want to broaden the scope of your experience or you may be returning from overseas and looking for a good senior level opportunity to get your teeth stuck into within the construction law field. Likewise, you may have reached a bottleneck in terms of progression and interested in a role that will allow you to take a step-up in terms of progression and responsibility. Enquire now to find out more about this unique opportunity.
