A good opportunity has come up for an experienced lawyer looking to advance their career in property and commercial law. As part of a high-performing team and working with a well-regarded specialist partner, you will gain exposure to complex commercial property transactions, subdivisions, property developments, unit title scheme developments and infrastructure projects. The team also acts as legal advisors on land and boundary issues and takes on a fair bit of local government work in these areas.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- 4-7 years PQE with experience in commercial property law (additional general commercial law experience would be advantageous);
- Technical legal skills regarding advising on and facilitating property transactions;
- Experience working with local government clients or knowledge of the Building Act and RMA would be an added bonus but isn't a must.
If you're looking for a rewarding position as part of a dynamic team then this could the opportunity for you. Likewise, you may be an NZ qualified lawyer looking to return from overseas and seeking an opportunity to do quality work in a regional area where you can set up roots.
