A well-regarded commercial property team is looking for an intermediate lawyer to join the firm as the work continues to grow. Working closely with a partner and senior, you'll be involved in greenfield developments, complex commercial property transactions, subdivisions acquisitions and disposals. There is also the opportunity to work on commercial leases for clients that have a property portfolio, commercial contracts and property financing matters.

You will assist on more complex transactions and matters and have greater autonomy in running straight forward files. Work will be across various sectors such as forestry, retail and construction, acting for corporates, developers and investors. You'll have mentorship in this role but enough scope to take ownership on your files and run them with autonomy where you feel comfortable. Culturally, work is done to a high standard and its a team-based collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years PQE at a reputable law firm;
  • Property experience and some exposure / experience in commercial property transactions;
  • An interest in further developing your skills with a commercial mind set;
  • A good university academic record.
