Working with the partner and senior lawyer, you'll learn from a well-regarded litigator in NZ. Working within a specialist litigation team environment, the work will involve a mix of litigation matters including: insurance, contractual disputes, insolvency, banking and construction-related disputes. There will be plenty of variety in the issues you'll deal with and you'll have the chance to be involved in more substantive drafting and advocacy work too. Mentorship from a partner with local and international experience makes this an attractive opportunity.
As an intermediate level litigator, you will ideally have:
- 2+ years experience in litigation and dispute resolution work;
- A good university academic record (B average or higher);
- Sound legal research, drafting and advocacy skills.
This is a unique opportunity that does not come by often. You'll be able to learn from experts and develop your litigation skills quickly working as part of a specialist litigation firm. Perhaps you're at a large firm but aren't getting the level of responsibility or exposure you're looking for? Or you are a Kiwi thinking of returning to NZ and keen to find yourself in a role that involves complex and interesting disputes? Enquire to find out more if this an option that would suit you.
