Commercial & Property Lawyer

An opportunity has come up at a well-established law firm just South of the city fringe. Our client is looking for a bright commercial lawyer who is interested in working with a partner and senior across an array of corporate, commercial and property matters.

Day-to-day, you would see yourself dealing with matters pertaining to commercial transactions (such as sale & purchase of businesses), company structuring, shareholder agreements, franchise agreements and commercial contract drafting. You would also have your hand in commercial property transactions such as working on subdivisions, commercial leasing agreements and unit title development work as well as assisting on overflow conveyancing. They recently worked on a $100 million commercial transaction so, as a general practice, they do some interesting and complex work.

The firm has a friendly atmosphere, a social environment and has a diverse clientele to provide variety and a mix of larger transactions to smaller matters. They have a good structure that promotes internal career development, and you would have the chance to be mentored by an experienced Partner and Associate.

About you:

The ideal person will have 2-5 years PQE with experience in commercial and property law, someone that is naturally able to build a good rapport with clients and has good drafting skills. Coming from a commercial team or general practice firm where you've had some experience in commercial and/or commercial property matters is key.
