This business is an Auckland-based family owned and operated Property Investment Company. They have been involved in the New Zealand and Australian commercial property market for decades and continue to take a long term investment position.

If you would like to work for a business that has high quality assets, a cross section of clientele, are privately owned and operating a lean team of people, and provide independent property services within the Auckland Commercial Property market, then this is the entry point for you.  They are looking for someone who is currently in a property manager position to step up into Asset Management, providing higher level strategic skills to the portfolio and its management.

The Role

You will be exposed to many aspects in the day to day running of a commercial property portfolio.  Here you will be working alongside senior experienced property experts (Asset Managers) and the GM of Property.  Together you will be negotiating new and existing lease deals, overseeing smaller refurbishment projects, and applying analysis to property investment opportunities..  This is an operational role that can set you up with true hands on experience in the Asset Management space.


You will have 2-4 years Commercial property experience, understand commercial drivers to negotiation, and ideally equipped with a Property or Finance Degree in your hand.  You will be motivated to learn, to adapt, and be flexible.  A person that succeeds in this role will be a multi-tasker at life, have an excellent attention span, and eye for detail.  If you are motivated to put in a couple of years hard work learning from experienced Senior’s within the business, then this role will be a good match for you.  Excellent communication skills and written skills are paramount.  International travel will be required from time to time.
